Larakkas is a Demon Lord whose worship was widespread among Men during the Great Migration. By many names does Man know him; Latarna was the name that was brought West by the Dhaldomin, while the Selæ knew him as Lamángauth. His worship was uniquely Human, for the Elder Races scorned Larakkas and cast him out whenever he was sought, and they forbade all worship of him, even among those Elder Races that had worshiped demons.
For Larakkas is the Lord of Ghouls, and the chief of their number; and all who pay him obeisance find that the House of Death is forever sealed off to them, and that so long as they consume the flesh of their own kind they will live for ever. Worship of Larakkas is well known throughout the Great Migration, and he is counted among the Old Gods of Men,
